Struck by The Perth Mint from 1/10oz of 99.9% pure silver, the coin is issued as legal tender under the Australian
Currency Act 1965, the undisputed guarantee of its weight and purity.
DESIGN
The reverse design depicts a charming image of a cuddly adult koala resting on the branch of a eucalyptus tree and incorporates The Perth Mint’s ‘P’ mintmark, 2012 year-date and coin specifications. Delicate frosting graces the table of this coin.
The coin’s obverse bears the Ian Rank-Broadley effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and the inscriptions ‘AUSTRALIA’ and ‘10 CENTS’.
